What’s with the inventory level at Harbor Jeep on E. Michigan Blvd? I stopped by there a couple of weeks ago looking to purchase a Jeep Compass. They had zero Jeep Compass vehicles in inventory and had very few new vehicles of any flavor in inventory. Actually, they had very few vehicles new or used in inventory. I may not be the brightest light bulb but I certainly know “You Can’t Sell What You Don’t Have”.

I was just browsing cars for fun and went to the Mercury website. I put in the 46360 zip (not mine) and it said the closest dealer is Lake Front Ford which is 14 miles away. I thought to myself, what happened to Hirsch? Found Hirsch on the web, so guess their still around.

yep, but Hirsch is just Ford. They are also one of the most generous businesses in town when it comes to the schools.

There service department is still going strong. I was a satisfied repair customer and they had amazingly cheap oil changes. If memory serves me correctly, under $15.

Thanks Southsider. I knew there used to be Bassett Lincoln-Mercury, but that has been long gone. I just assumed Hirsch became the Mercury dealer. But I guess Hirsch is smart in the long run since now Ford is getting rid of the Mercury brand.

I believe Bassett Lincoln-Mercury was in the building which now houses the Honda dealer. The building immediately to the west was the Volkswagen dealer if memory serves me correctly.
