Paving will occur in Michigan City today at the following locations: — Warnke Road from Johnrue Avenue to State Road 212 — Golf Lane from Rogers Avenue to the East Dead End — Golfview Road from South Dead End to Warnke Road Paving will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 3. All road construction is weather permitting. |

On Monday, September 9th, milling (removing the surface) will be done on Walker St from Vail St to Grace St. All road construction is weather permitting. Updates will be provided as they become available. Reply STOP to opt-out

Tuesday, 9/10 - curb and ADA access concrete removal is underway on the West side of Franklin Street beginning at 4th Street and continuing South to 10th Street. On Thursday, 9/12 through Saturday, 9/14, concrete crews will continue removal, and forming and installing concrete at those same locations will commence, weather permitting. Traffic control will remain in place, so please use caution when driving in this area. Updates will be provided as they become available. Reply STOP to opt-out

Monday, 9/16 - paving has commenced on Union St from E St to Peru St and Springland Ave from Vail St to N Porter St. On Tuesday, 9/17 - preparations for paving will begin on Southwind Dr from Village Rd to the North Dead End, with paving being done on Wednesday, 9/18. Concrete removals have also commenced on W Garfield St from Winski St to Wabash St. All construction is weather permitting. Updates will be provided as they become available. Reply STOP to opt-out

Thursday, 9/19 - milling (removing the surface) will commence on Garfield St from Winski St to Ohio St, continuing Friday, 9/20 from Ohio St to Wabash St. Paving is expected to commence on Monday, 9/23 on Garfield St from Winski St to Wabash St. All construction is weather permitting. The northbound outside lane of the 3500 block of Franklin Street (in front of Al's Supermarket) will be closed for 2-3 hours midday on Friday. Please adjust your travel plans accordingly.
